I like the idea of squad numbers giving us a certain element of consistency - if everyone was given a squad number would this fill our capacity and therefore not allow any guests to participate? If it left 5 - 10 numbers that guests could come and get on a first come first served basis each week I think that would work.

If you went along with the squad numbers could you continue 6:30 starts so that capacity increases. I know everyone can't come early but that's ok since some can so the people that can get early squad numbers and obviously those who can't opt for later numbers.

If, for any reason, holiday etc, you couldn't race let Laurie know and you forfeit your number for the next week and regain it the week after. Obviously if you had a member consistenly not turning up at their alloted time this then gets allocated to someone else (although I can't see this happening!)

Just some thoughts....
