I think another potential problem has also been overlooked that some people, myself included have paid up for the season. I know that i will only ride 18 of the 24 or so events due to holidays, races and work commitments so will always be running at a loss but never really going to ask for any refund.

However, if i turned up at an event and found that i could not ride, what happens there?

Should those who have paid for the season be guaranteed a ride or is that going down the preferrential treatment road?
