This is a really interesting question, and I am afraid I don't have a very good answer. I know that pictures were smuggled out of the concentration camps, and that the British government DID know about them. I also know that Sir Anthony Eden spoke about them in Parliamnet and that the MP had a time of silence. But of course the British could not DO anything about them until they had defeated Germany. You may get a better answer if you ask on
