Subject: Appeasement Shouldn't Have Happened

Appeasement shouldn't have happened. Great Britain and it's allies could've and should've reacted immediately to Hitler when he set out in his road to war. When Hitler wanted Anschluss with Austria, did nobody think about the future and the possibilities. Okay I understand the reasons why they appeased him them but when he got the Sudetenland, he had a different perspective at the start of his campaign than at the end of it. He only wanted parts of the Sudetenland at the first meeting between the main powers, but only days later, he wanted ALL of it. Didn't this start ringing alarm bells in people's heads. It certainly did in Churchill's head and he had the same perspective as I would've done then - HITLER WASN'T TO BE TRUSTED!!!!!!! This was shown all the way from the announcement of him becoming Chancellor. When this happened, didn't anybody read MEIN KAMPF???? This clearly showed his aspirations for Germany and as far as I know, he put most of these into action. So you Chamberlain fans, think of Hitler's past and Britain's knowledge of what he was doing when he became Chancellor.
