Subject: Did everything turn out alright?

I was just wonderin what everyone else thought about how our world has turned out, arguably World war 2 was the most influential thing in the 20th century, but was it a Sucess? I mean i am glad Chamberlain appeased Hitler because the world has turned out ok from it. if he didnt we might have crushed Hitler but there would have still been crack pots like Hitler in Germany wanting to take over the world, and one of them may have suceeded. So in the long run appeasement was sucessful.....am i talking rubbish well it makes sense in my head.......................
