What an amazing and interesting idea! It certainly fits in with the Nazi view of race - in Hitler's racism, the British were very high up in the evolution league... almost as high as the Aryan superhumans. Hitler's idea was always that there would be some kind of agreement between us and Germany and he was surprised when Britain chose to go to war against Germany in defence of peoples he saw as 'untermensch' (subhuman).
However, I suspect that the Anglo-German relationship would never have been one of equals, and that we would have been allowed to live 'by the grace of Hitler', and I think we would have got sick eventually of getting bossed about.
So I wonder when war became inevitable - do other contributors have their own ideas?
