Just thinking. If the producers of Emergency! were paying attention to the net, they'd know that there's zillions if not thousands of Emergency! fans out there that would be glued to the TV Saturday nights at 7 if they were to revisit the series. But, would an updated version work? Johnny and Roy became Captains at the end of the series, so it stands to reason that at least one of them (Roy) would be a Battallion Chief by now. Wouldn't that be a terrific premise for Emergency - The Next Generation. These days, from what I understand, there ARE Paramedics on the LACoFD engines, so that would open up the possibility of both of them still being able to do the old job, plus now we'd get to see the older more mature side of Johnny...Roy wouldn't likely have changed other than looking a few years older, since he was always pretty mature. The show could be based at 51, maybe the Squad could be one of those new 4 door jobs I saw in a pic on another web site. Harbour UCLA could still pose for Rampart...and even it's been revamped over the years. Who else thinks has possibilities?
