I remembered a case from my student life: on the 5th year of studying all the students were to have 3 months of practice on chemical plants located in different cities and there were a few places in Moscow too. One Georgian wanted to work in Moscow cause of love affair, he was afraid that his GF would leave him if he left for other city. But to stay in Moscow one should have had a serious reason: pregnancy, little children or health reasons or ill relatives u have to take care. Then the Georgian asked one of the students to say the director of practice that she was his wife and she is pregnant from him and she has an operation during the practice. The director believed(or pretended that he believes) and allowed the Georgian to have his practive in Moscow. And despite everybody new that the Georgian is single and that it is all lies nobody exposed him.
