The way Darrach describes Fischer is accurate and
confirmed by the way Fischer developes later on in

A good journalist should tell the truth and
nothing but the truth but I do have my questions. Maybe Darrach is also an unpleasant man?

The answers were given in the article: descriptions were false, most of dialogs and scenes made up, besides not only Fischer but also Euwe and Schmidt were furious at Darrach for his unfair treatment. It is far from "the truth and nothing but the truth".
