By the way, I remembered another story with nails I'd read many years ago. As Peter didn't find any story I asked him, lemme tell you mine. Once a guy from Vermont bought three pounds of wooden nails but they turned out to be mouldering. Then the guy thought a bit, trimmed all the nails from the other end and sold them as oats.
