 if you are looking at being competetive in agility, why would you want 'large and muscular'? Obedience, well, won't matter until you get to the higher levels but you might want to look at the structure and various desirable traits (structure and temperament-wise) of dogs that are competetive in those venues so that you can know your specific needs and requirements before making decisions.
