You might try joining the online support group for the recessive from of PKD. This affects mainly children so most members are parents. Keep in mind that thier kids will probably have faster progressing PKD since it is the recessive form and your son isn't going to have every problem that they do. The helpful part is that if your son has a problem, most likely someone in the group has already been through it. Hope this is helpful.
