In reply to: Bob 's message, "pain in both kidneys" on 00:10:39 03/19/08 Wed

"It has been a while since I've posted, sorry. My
problem is I found I had PKD 5-6 years ago, starting
to have bad pain in both kidneys, urinating alot.
Lower legs swelling when I travel on planes or
driving. BP usually 140/90. Could anyone clue me in
maybe on what's going on? Thank you. Worried, Bob in
WV."

I think you need to see a kidney doctor, they are going to put you on high blood pressure meds. The sooner the better. Untreated HBP can cause a whole other host of problems & since you have PKD you so don't need that. Also when you are there you can ask the dr about the swelling, pain & peeing.
