I've had a couple friends (no PKD) who had severe depression. The trigger for them always seemed to be stress and feeling hopeless.
I'm sure PKD can bring a lot of stress in your life but it sounds like it's more then that bothering you. I found it helped me to talk with the people involved in whatever situation that really bothers me to try to find ways to make it better.
Maybe your doctors could have you work with their office managers to set up a payment schedule you could live with or maybe you could talk with some others at work on ways to make it more pleasant. I know this is a lot of maybes but when I've felt depressed, I've found doing even small things to make my life better really helps with feeling more hopeful. Surprisingly, chocolate also seems to play a big part in my feeling better plan too ;) Anyway, I hope you find a way to get rid of your depression! Best wishes...Beth
