HI, my name is crystal I was diagnosed with PKD a year ago at the age of 18. When I was in the hopital (when I first found at about this disease) I had infection in my cysts. There are two ways that they can drain these cysts. They can hook a type of tube to it which you will have to wear for a while, how long? i'm not sure. Or the way I had it done was after the ultrasound they mark on your outer skin where it is exactly and then go in with a needle. I know it sounds horrible but after it is done you will feel a great improvement. Hang in there! I'm sure you'll do great.

let me know how it goes
