Hi, i am also another college student living with pkd. My situation sounds a lot like yours. I also found out about this disease a year ago, My mom adn two younger sisters which are 12 and 15 also have this lovely disease. I also think to myself every once and a while, when walking down the halls at school. It is so weird that i have this disease and so many of these people walk past me every day adn have no idea taht i have pkd or what it even is. I have learnt a lot within this year, I get most of my strength from those around me i have great friends adn family with a good support system. I love them to death adn i know that when we found out about this disease it was heartbreaking but you just have to live from day to day and love every minute of it. take care!
