I am no doctor but will pass along some of the info I have read about PKD.
I would definately have the child examined by a nephrologist. Most all humans develop 1 or 2 cysts during their lifetime with no relation to any disease. However, there is a form of PKD that will appear in children known as Autosomal recessive PKD. All PKD is inherited from what I have read and understood. You have every right to be concerned about the health of your child and I would take her for further tests as soon as it can be arranged. It could be simple cysts and nothing to be worried about but it is worth looking into. The sooner the disease is diagnosed, the better the outcome.
