More people get seriously hurt working construction in one day than screws do in ten years. I've been in for 18 years and I've worked Max, Med and Min facilities. They were all better and safer than the 15 years I spent swinging a hammer.
I've been shot with nail guns, fallen from staging been stabbed with utility knives and had rusty spike through my feet and had my fingers crushed to mention just a few of the hundreds of on the job injuries I received working construction.
Any one of these injuries would have put screws out on full paid I.A.'s for months or years at a time.
I didn't get any paid time off after I got hurt I just taped up my cuts and went back to work.
The worst that's ever happened to me in the joints is a couple of pretty good fist fights, a broken finger, a kick in the ribs and a battery thrown at my back. Also about a dozen or so forced moves. Big fucking deal.
That's easy money to me. You guys can just keep on bitching. Nobody cares.
