I thought about doing this too. I thought that the "no holes" problem could be solved with a tab under a hitch mounting bolt or just bolted to the truck frame. I was going to try the "bumper tabs" from a Happi-Jac camper tiedown.

I'm installing a Brake Buddy in the jeep.
