That sounds pretty typical. The fan in the heater takes a lot of juice.

If you're prewired for a generator, it's very easy to do.

There might be some generators out there that do that, but I've never heard of one. The generator that you can get from Lance only turns on if you flip the switch over the stove. It is not auto-starting.

I think that was the propane or CO detector beeping. I've only had my battery get that low once. Once was enough.

Our Lance uses about 20-25AH of juice a day. If you can get 6 hours of good sun, you can put most of that back using a 100W panel.
