Finally someone who wants to discuss the topic rather than play "get the newbie". It is truly a relief to discuss this with someone who is apparently truly interested in the topic, and is willing to discuss it in an intelligent manner without inuendo and sarcasm. My whole intention from the start was to stay on topic and present and rebut and dicuss the facts. Instead I found myself trying to defend frivolous remarks from others who apparently either take this subject lightly or are using tactics purposely to derail an intelligent discussion.
I understand your confusion on this topic. I also have some doubts and questions and I had hoped that was what was going to be discussed. I certainly didn't plan on coming here to get into verbal arguments about attitudes. But that is what this has devolved to.
I am presently being blindsided by numerous people because I pointed out the faliicy of Sprite's frivoulous and demeaning and Incorrect statement, but as of yet no one has addressed that fact. Instead I was blindsided and ridiculed . That was why I chose to move this topic to another board I frequent where everyone gets a fair deal and is allowed to speak their mind. The only rule there is to conduct onesself in a civil manner and stay on topic, which would be difficult for many here. Because of this a rift was caused between me and Lance for which I am really sorry. Had he kept the debate to just us two, allowing others that had a contributing facts and points of view to join in, it could have proven to be a very successful and educational discussion. Instead I was left to stand against misinformation distortions and misquotes on several fronts.I as well as others have been accused of doing hateful things and nothing could be farfher from the truth.
I only wish there were a lot more like you who would be willing to discuss rather than dismiss. I'm sorry I have little to add right now but I wasn't prepared for you. I was too busy trying to correct others that saw fit to try to ridicule and demean me. Hopefully we can discuss this further and we both can learn more. Thanks again for your serious input.
