What I have heard over and over again is that HCL's violate free speech which we have proven over and over again that they do not.

I hear over and over again that they will cause gay people to have special rights or be a special class, which experience with hate crimes laws does not prove.

I hear over and over that HCL's are not necessary because such crimes are already illegal and curreent laws need to be enforced, yet that is just what HCL's do, ensure that current laws are enforced without prejudice.

And many of these arguments that we have proven to be false or rooted in misconceptions are perpetuated by religious anti-gay groups. They are wrong not because of their source but because we have proven them to be wrong time and time again with factual information. That is why I bring it up.

If what I am repeating is not factual then why don't you offer real, factual, documented proof to the contrary?

HCL's violate free speech FALSE
HCL's violate Constitutional protections FALSE
HCL's control and criminalize thoughts FALSE
HCL's criminalize religious expression FALSE
HCL's are unnecessary because murder is already illegal FALSE
HCL's would make even trivial homophobic actions or comments a federal crime FALSE

And there is factual information and evidence to back up every one of those statements.
