This discussion Lmce and I are about to have started because he mentioned in a chat how he met someone in a debate over Hate Crime Laws. I just replied to him that I was against them and was going to tell him why, but he stopped me and suggested we do it on his board.
I only was on another board that used Yabb so if I make some screw ups I hope you'lll understand. I'm sure things will fall into place after I get used to it. I'm not into public speaking or debates so I don't know any rules to follow. I just know what I believe and if my views are proven wrong I will be happy to change my opinions. (Dream on Lance).

FYI for those who might be interested: I don't personally attack people in any discussion and I'll respect any one's views, even when I disagree with them. However I will point out why I disagree with them.
I won't answer any personal questions until I feel extremely comfortable with someone and then I will answer only in private. This has to do with a bad experience I had on the net, so please don't feel offended if I refuse to tell you anything about my personal life.

I am a gay male who is almost as opinionated and as stubborn as Lance. (That's a compliment Lance) * giggles*
As I told Lance, I am fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I was once told I was 2 steps to the right of Rush Limbough and on another occasion I was told I make Dick Gephardt look like a right wing zealot, so I guess you will all have to just form your own impression as we go along.

My biggest passion is to see the young kids, gay or straight, black or white, etc., get a decent chance at life. I will push hard for gay adoption rights and criticize all the bureaucrats who talk a good game but in the meantime allow each day to pass while thousands of kids are mentally or physically abused: AND THIS HAS TO STOP!(Another topic for another day).
