I found out from a friend, that Lance wasn't on line at the time you posted this and I doubt he will be on line today. He's busy helping someone. A 19 yr old girl, a lesbian, from his university's GSA. She called his home phone last night. Her Dad beat her up. Her nose was bleeding maybe broken, her cheek was bruised and cut, her lips were cut and bleeding. She was crying so hard she could barely talk. She didn't know what else to do, where else she could go. But she knew if she was with Lance, she was safe.

He wanted to go get her, but she said she could drive, even though she was crying so hard she could barely talk. She wanted to know if she could come over and stay at his house.

So Lance was a little busy last night doing what he does, helping a gay kid who had no one else that she could turn to, and no where else that she could go to for help.

Thank you for YOUR "contribution" to society last night...posting this.

You might want to re-examine your life, your priorities, and maybe find a more constructive use for your time than spamming a gay rights board.

If you are just here to spam this board and you are gay, maybe you should get over yourself and try to be a little more like Lance and the people on this board and actually try to help gay kids.

If you are straight, maybe you should realize that we're not going to hurt you. We're just people doing the best that we can to have a little happiness.
