Marc -

I just wanted to thank you for your website! I am a K-9 Handler (EDD / Patrol Dog) currently here in sothern Iraq.

In a strange way, it is because of the stories on your website that I ended up becoming a K-9 Handler to begin with - some years ago I had found your site and could only imagine what a rare, unique experience that it must have been to be stationed in the "PI" and working a dog when you guys were there!

Through a very weird turn of events I ended up working in Afghanistan handling my first Bomb Dog nearly 2 and a half years ago, and have been here in the Middle East ever since.

Unfortunately, it's nothing like the Philippines ever was(I've been there a half dozen or so times in the last 10 years), but my days here handling a dog in support of OEF / OIF will no doubt be remembered as some of the more interesting times of my life.

God bless you and your fellow K-9 Handlers!
