Thanks for the reply. I did just see it. It does not sound like the same dog. My Wolf was a smaller dog for a military dog, about 65 to 70 pounds. Although he made up for size in aggession. Little shit was aggressive as heck. He did not have a bent ear, at least not when I had him between '73 and '75.

This is the funniest thing. I was at Clark for two years and I spent my time in the washouts and every other place that I hear about. We did shoot flares at intruders when they came thru the washouts but all these other stories sound a bit far fetched. Even after being there they seem hard to believe. As far as the partying hell yes. Now from what I remember is going out on post and meeting up with another handler and shooting the bull for most of the night. One time on a housing area patrol I met up with the post next to me and we went to the midnight movies at the outdoor theater. Put our dogs under the fence and we went over. Got back on post about 60 seconds before the flight cheif came by for a post check. Remember others at the golf course would get together and have poker games all night long. Clark was just a big party on duty and off.
