This was last 60'2 to early 70's...it was when Col Holman was commander of the 6200 SPS. Later the unit changed it's name to Tac Squad...Man how the years have passed!!! They always bragged how they carried shovels to bury their mistakes. Supposedly there were contracts on a lot of their heads. So I guess calling them "Tactical Units" served the purpose of disbanding the Red Patch. I was stationed at Clark, 6200 SPS (Law Enforcement) from 1969-70. Walked a lot of posts and knew a lot of K9 guys. I came over from SP tech school with Bill Anderson, Joe Merrill, Bruce Hutchison and others. What a party. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
