All,
Looking for Jim Bolerjack. He was assigned to Clark around 1969; left there to be reassigned to Clinton Sherman AFB, OK., which is where I met him. He lived in Dallas Texas.
Also, I trained LUCKY, 7K01, in Okinawa, before he went to Clark. After I trained him in Jun/Jul 1970, I had to hand him over to one of the other handlers in the class, a fellow by the name of Gallati or Galatti. the spelling might be off on his name, but it's close.
I always wondered how Lucky turned out and if Galatti stayed on as his handler.
LUCKY and I were the honor graduates of the class but I didn't have a chit to take him back to Anderson AFB and Gallati did; and seeing as how his dog broke down during night problems and washed out he got to take the only spare dog, LUCKY to Clark. Did anybody handle LUCKY?
If any of you can tell me more about Jim Bolerjack, or LUCKY or Gallati, I'd appreciate it.
Finally, I also trained another dog, RUFF, 8M36 at Lackland AFB before all this, i.e., 1968 and took him to Clinton Sherman ABB. When I was transferred to Guam, they sent him back to Lackland to be retrained as a patrol dog. And I'd love to know where he is at rest, now.
Thanks, and I raise my right "paw" to my follow dog men.
