the ignore VR button feature doesn't work on my T3

when checked, the button sure enough doesn't work, even when the unit is already on.

but when the unit is off the button does turn it on but then doesn't go to VR (so it is disabled, as noted above).

this is with very short pushes; longer pushes make no difference whatsoever.

it seems to me that when the unit is off the ignore button feature would mean the button won't turn it on (unless perhaps held for more than the short delay duration or more...), and when the unit is on the button won't go to VR unless held down past the (1/2 second i have set) for the 'short delay'.

the way it works on my unit makes no sense to me, ie, allowing the unit to be turned on but then disabling the button to work, with any time length of push, to go to VR.

so i assume the feature is broken (is it only on my machine? could it be on all T3's?). but maybe i don't understand how it is designed to work, and why.

ken
