Subject: zzr400 cdi

My CDI for a ZZR400d has gone. trying to avoid buying a new one. Can anyone in the know email me to tell me whether a zzr600d one works? I assume it does seeing as the engine fires the same and is wired the same. Any help would be very much appreciated
