Thanks to everyone for thier advice. I have bought myself a (purple) 1999 D7 1100 in excellent condition. The colour is really deep and eveything is shiney and best of all it goes like stink.
The only faults are marks on the wheels where the laquer is coming off but i will sort that out in time.
Thanks to the previous owners for keeping it in such good nick, i have to keep going out the garage to look at it and polish it again....
