Subject: The Three Pathways Of Choice* Telling It Like It Is*


Eyes ablaze, considering fantasy
yet to believe the future is now,
glued tight in this atmosphere, old habits familiar
Unsure my footing, move forward..but how?

I'm sprinting fast, like a hamster spins treadmill
revolving affect, greets dread once again,
A wonderful tool, is the voice of encouragement
'been there, done that' the prompting of pain;

Behold the lights bounce the water, attacking
like fireflies trapped in a cobweb of fate,
yonder stands beauty, enticing this carcass
shed my skin, losing, the Serpent of Hate;

Here rests the Pathways, three directions beckon
a Future, the Past, yet the Now, disappears...
supporting my own Cross, tread the divide reckless
launching beginnings, my gift, to lost years;

Eyes ablaze, I'm accepting reality
Belief in the knowledge , tomorrow is now,
unleashed in surroundings, new memories unfolding
steadfast my footing, moved forward , that's how;
