Frightful Beauty Of Nature.
Braun feathered stealth,
so high up there,
like a mortal kite.
Dancing on the drifts
of the Gods, as if held
by an invisible thread.
Leaning on wide spread
fingered wings,
gently rustling in
wide circles of patience.
Standing still, carried
by mighty flaps,
slapping gravity in it's face,
while hiding behind
the silence of a prayer,
in praying for a pray.
Performing like a prima ballerina
of the heavenly skies,
in a ballet of nature's thermals.
Majestically looking down,
disguised a slim,
insignificant spot against
the sun in a speckless sky.
Until wings are folded for a pray,
thanking the Creator
for His gift of today,
tumbling down in a dazzling,
lightning speed,
that easily could set feathers on fire.
Mortality itself falling from
the innocent spheres,
with the accuracy of a soft bullet,
aimed with the marksman skills
of the all seeing eye of a God.
Armed with a beak like a scythe
and tallons like daggers,
there seems no escape
other than coincidence.
All other comes down on
sweet surrendering to hoping,
that the final strike
of surprize will snatch life away
at the mercy of a swift
and painless end.
