The thin line from which the blood will flow to freedom
I will not let the feelings live that are so wanton
Out of place and not in the original schematic
Love is in the heart yet it drives the mind frantic

Cherished are the memories when you brought about bliss
Dancing out of step in a place that is close to remiss
Those that would know better proclaim silence is eternally deep
When I speak no words I can still those beautiful eyes weep

No language can express and a picture could never portray
It saddens me when it’s my heart I must always disobey
Stability brings about balance and an understanding
Simple feelings that I find far too demanding

An extract of history to be brought about only to be buried
Solitude seems to be the only path that I can succeed
In the ways of love and matters of the heart I am inadequate
It drives me into sanctuary and to remain covert

Every so often I get a glimpse of the life I could lead
My heart reminds me of what it is that I need
Circumstances that bring about an insatiable craving
Every thing else is forgotten because you’re missing

Coldness sets in as the blood vanquishes the body
My perception of this world is quite scary
I see the last of the night as the beautiful sun rises
In the centre of the fire burns the Phoenix’s ashes
