Subject: Ocean Kelp

Ocean Kelp

A little girl and boy,
look upwards at the glitter
of tall, white concrete pillars.
They hear the traffic whoosh
as it passes them by
without needing any push.

These two, in time worn clothes
are quite hungry down to their toes.
Not only for a food spread,
but the information highway that arose
so far above their heads.

No entrance or exit ramps
near by, neither do they have any
computors in schools or camps.
They wait, praying to catch in mitts,
information fluttering down like careless litter.

But those, in the speeding cyber cars
want everything or more, than they already have.
So for these two, the new age is like Mars
as they're unable to link-web a road to pave.

Athough quite bright
the school they attend, is like a blight
upon their souls, by not being recognized
for their thoughts of might.

When is, the top for all their brains,
going to learn, that those in the dark
still and will have ability, to teach more
than just their street smarts
going down the drain?
They could for us, the learning pour
as being intellingent
doesn't mean, one is smart.

Unless these two get help
their condemed forever
to be workers of low level plight,
never able to see the true Light.
Their lives being like, ocean kelp.
