Subject: BEING HUMBLE

BEING HUMBLE

Love, so goes the saying,
is never having to say
"I'm sorry!"
but how can one love so much?

There may be a way to love
simply... accept
that which is for what it is:
no stress or strain of judgment
for all is ultimately subjective.

Observe – without condemning.
Observe – learn discernment
Observe – learn to build
Observe – no need to destroy
for that which no longer serves
will fall like grasses in hedgerows
when October passes by..

Praise honestly, openly
only that which is praiseworthy.
No need to elevate one
by pushing down another
for pride can make good use
of false humility,
but humility is greater by far
than the mightiest pride.
