Do we have the right to freedom of speech or will it always be censored by leading religious figures? I agree that they may have been offended by the author's work and they had the right to protest - however, to turn a quiet protest into a full blown act of violence and destruction surely violates all the principles of the religion? Just because you don't like something doesn't mean that you have the right to condemn others' views - what happened to tolerance, objectivity and democracy??? If you don't like it - don't go watch the play but don't stop others from seeing a different perspective!
