Subject: GS Week 7 Challenge

Started this challenge this past Friday.

Day 1
Milk: ½ cup ff with Decaf Tea + 1½ in ff decaf mocha = 2
Fruit: 1 cup grapes + 1 apple + 1 orange = 3
Veggie: 4 cups of lettuce, tomato, mushroom, green beans, peas, avocado and red pepper = 4

Day 2
Milk: 2 cups ff with decaf tea = 2
Fruit: 2 tangerines + 1 banana = 3
Veggie: 3 cups mushroom, green beans, zucchini, cauliflower and broccoli = 3

Day 3
Milk: 1 cup ff with decaf tea + 1 cup ff yogurt = 2
Fruit: 2 tangerines + 1 banana + 2 cups orange-banana-pineapple juice = 5
Veggie: 3 cups spinach + cucumber + tomato = 5

Even thought I count 1 cup of milk as 2 points, I just realized that I have been counting 1 cup of milk as 1 serving, while it is actually two servings. No harm done, my milk product consumption is doubled of what I am listing.

Day 4
Milk: 2 cups ff with decaf tea = 4
Fruit: 1 apple + 1 orange + 1 tangerine = 3
Veggie: 2 bowls of cauliflower, broccoli, green beans and tomato = 5

Day 5
Milk: 2 cups ff with decaf tea = 4
Fruit: 1 small banana + 2 orange + ½ apple = 3
Veggie: 1 cup eggplant + 2 tomatoes = 3

Day 6
Milk: 1 cup ff with decaf tea + 1 cup yogurt = 4
Fruit: 1 orange + 1 apple + 1 tangerine + couple of pieces of pineapple + 1 pear = 4
Veggie: 1 bowls 0-point soup (green beans + tomato + mushroom) + 2 bowls salad (tomato + cucumber + lettuce) = 8

Day 7
Milk: ½ cup ff with decaf tea + 1½ ff in Mocha = 4
Fruit: 1 small banana + 12 oz pineapple juice = 4
Veggie: 1 bowls 0-point soup (green beans + tomato + mushroom) = 3

I am giving myself another 10!!! Toward the end of last week and beginning of this week I noticed that my appetite has increased. I reduced my exercise and eat more fiber and I was able to go back to consuming points on my lower end. I noticed that during the past few weeks I have been lacking enough veggies. I eat veggies, but not every day. I am going to make it a point to have enough veggies from now on. I think my increased appetite could have been for lack of fiber.
