Subject: where's the money going?

 So, I took my daughters over to the summer fest today. Turns out you had to pay $1 to participate. I'd like to know where that money is going?

Seems like double dipping to me. First, our dues pay for the thing, then we have to pay for it again when we participate. Is the money raised going back into the association to offset the cost?
