William 's message, "Doesn't seem right" on Sun, Aug 17 2008, 9:48:13 "The association is there to serve the needs of Willoughby Station, not to raise money for charities!" I couldn't agree more. In fact I just spent the last 30 minutes looking at the covenants and bylaws, and can't find anything in either which says we should be spending Association resources (i.e., money) to raise money for charity. Problem is, there is nothing in there which says they can't. I am in favor of adding a covenant forbidding this in the future. I've got nothing against giving to charities, I just don't think it's something the association should be doing. T. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
