I don't get it. Lisa Simmerman was one of the few people I met over the years (yes, I've met her personally) who gave me some ideas on where to look for help with my child.

Her child was dx'd Asperger's and later re-dx'd HFA (which was better in the province in which she lives because it opened up some minute amount of funding for her child).

She is far from being a socialite. She is employed by a symphony orchestra as a principal tympanist and her husband makes violins for a living. By no means are they living high off the hog, so to speak. And with an autistic child, they most certainly know what it's like to parent such a child.

I'm not sure what's going on with the society but I do know that Lisa's life has been dramatically changed by the dx her son received. She was very caring and helpful whenever she dealt with my child and our situation.

Has anyone emailed Lisa Simmerman directly and asked her what's going on with the society?
