>Funny but I don't hear many AUTISTICS fighting to
>includ ASPIES who are also on the autism spectrum ....
>how do you justify THAT?

WHAT exactly ARE you talking about?
please offer some clarification, as to HOW your thoughts went from the discussion we were having, to you not hearing autistics fighting to include aspies?

how can you ask ME to JUSTIFY something that I DONT DO?

am very lost with your lack of cohesion at this point, and have no way to comment in a meaningful manner, until have some idea what you are actually talking about.

until then, you get some very basic answers:

"Funny but I don't hear many AUTISTICS fighting to includ ASPIES who are also on the autism spectrum .... how do you justify THAT?"

sorry to hear that raven.
clearly your circle of friends am not familiar with, and have NO understanding about people that you are speaking about.
As for justifying what these people you speak of do.... you will have to ask the people you are talking about, to justify themselves to you.... why are you asking me to justify something people you know do?

"Or do the arguments you and your cohorts present only stand true for "real" autistics?"
1) dont have any cohorts.
2) speaking for self, the 'arguments'
(your words not mine, but am too tired to discuss wether this is an argument or not, clearly you need a considerable amount of time and energy dedicated to this issue [still], and currently dont have it)
that present only stand true for ME.

3) do not know what you consider to be 'real autistics' so cannot even place a parallel on my 'arguments' and what 'real autistics' argue.

"Ah yes, based on how I've been treated here, I can see that Aspies aren't really autistics and therefore aren't welcome here"

WHAT are you talking about? (again)

there are MANY aspies here (me included -depending on which doctors dx you go with), and have NOT seen anyone being UN-welcome here.... except for those persons
(wether aspie, autie, neuro-socials, adhd, what-ever-end-of-or-off-spectrum one falls on)
who choose to be mean to others, or come around here pretending they are someone they arent (like the insane lady from the school board who came in here pretending she was a mother of an autistic child)... those are the only people that have ever seen un-welcome here.

So, IF you think:

1) you are unwelcome here, then clearly your thoughts arise from your own insecurity and are not a result of what people here have told you.

2) that aspies are unwelcome here, then it also is false, because there are lots of aspies that come to this board....

OR else, if that comment was an effort to try to seek some type of a 'pity' response (towards you), or to pass on an: 'ouch-im-a-victim-now' stance, your attempts are futile and seem to merely indicate that your sense of self is fragile, dependent (socially), and in need of a boost.
Hoping that you will find a safe place to seek acceptance where you will be given as much nurturing as you are in need of.

and finally, about the narrow mind...
generally a narrow mind is one who cannot accomodate the fact that someone else might think differently then you.
In that case, it is you that has a narrow mind.
it is you that has chosen to not accept that fact that some people (me included) think differently then you, and we ahve the right to voice our opinion (as you have).

IF you have trouble with this idea (that others can have different points of view then you and that does not mean that we are attacking you as a person, or even your perspective), then it is an area you can seek some support around... perhaps you have friends (but i would suggest you dont choose those autistics that you first mentioned), family, doctor, someone can help you with this.
Obviously it causes you pain.... if you come out of this feeling like you are not welcome here.
That would be the last thing that we would want anyone (who is not abusive) to feel.

would strongly advice you to read cheryls response to you.
she speaks the truth.
