well, it IS scary looking.... he did this at the swimming during the winter... diving into the pool... but he never did get brave enough to actually dive (head first) off the diving boards... but he does jump off the third story diving board without fear....

so, now he is doing into the lake....
it is so deep there, that the adult men who have lived here all their lives have never been able to go deep enough to find the bottom... so no fear of actually hitting the bottom there.
