Daniel had a very happy day...His favorite "gift" was a huge pinata the store gave me. I was at the store getting balloons and the lady told an employee he needed to get rid of the pinata they had used for cinco de mayo. He asked if i wanted it and i said sure. It was a huge silvery star like pinata with red and green streamers and bows. Daniels eyes grew so wide and smiled so big when he saw it hanging from his ceiling. He immediately started spinning it and the smiles and fascination with it lasted for hours. Its still hanging there and he still plays with it.lol He also likes his battery opperated bubble blowing gun...pull the trigger and it blows tons of bubbles.

Today i ordered a swimming pool, i had wanted it for his birthday but couldnt make the final decision, finally did today so i ordered a HUGE one and cant wait till it gets here ...should be fun and hope to teach him to swim this summer.

I dont know why but his birthdays make me sad, i suppose cause its another year and he still doesnt talk.

However he did say a new word yesterday and shocked me right into hysteria, shocked him too i think that i was so excited.lol To think the word "out" could bring such happiness! He wanted to go outside, and usually just uses a pecs for this...i remember a story about another boy that started talkin at 10 after he began receiving ABA so maybe its really starting to effect his expressive language. Guess its good to never lose hope!
