Ive never given Daniel any drugs so I dont have any experience, good or bad, so I cant help ya there.

I personally would try to find out what is causing the behaviors. There is always a reason even if there doesnt appear to be. I am not sure how verbal JR is so i dunno if his behaviors are from an inabilty to communicate or what. Have you done a functional behavioral analysis? This would help determine the cause(s) and then you would be more able to develop a plan to prevent or eliminate the unwanted behaviors. Its also possible that the behaviors are being reinforced without you actually realizing you are reinforcing. Having an outside evaluator can really help pinpoint the cause(s).

Knowing a little more about his verbal/communication abilities would help me to be able to offer suggestions how to eliminate unwanted behaviors.

As you may know, Daniel is non verbal and he has always had behavioral issues. Most were due to lack of communication...
They are pretty non exsistent at home now tho, thru behavioral intervention, not drugs. I myself would try behavioral intervention before medication, but thats just me.
