 Your analysis seems simplistic to me. Without considering the circumstances in which the Second Amendment was drafted and the different circumstances in the U. S. today, you cannot make an intelligent decision about the right to carry weapons. I do not think Charlton Heston, a master at interpreting other's scripts, has a percipient script of his own. We are hoping to go in a different direction in Canada, where crimes committed with the use of guns is much lower than in the U.S. And we hope to keep it that way.
