 recently i had a handgun seized out of my vehicle b/c of a shooting which i nor the handgun was involved in. the handgun was not registered to me but was mine. the D.A. says by the federal firearms act he cant legally return the gun to me. i dont believe this is true. i contacted an attorney who said i would be better off to just buy another one b/c its a 50/50 shot at gettin it back, however he never said i couldnt get it at all. anyone have any experience with this sort of problem?
