Now that the chigger, flea and mosquito season has been here a while, what do you use that has worked the best on those itching little annoying bites?

I'm looking for some really good itch killing medicine, Please, I'm about to itch myself to death here...... LOL

Thanks!

Try some Calamine lotion. It always worked for me.. So sorry to hear that. That's another good reason to live out here in the desert, those little bastards dare not come out here. To damn hot for them. It's only been 110 the past week with no let up..

Tried that it really only works for just a little bit and then here come the itchies again. I'm trying really hard not to scratch, damn its hard! Pretty much the only thing that works for any length of time is just rubbing alcohol. Thanks for the suggestion though, much hugs and kisses your way! Stay cool and don't you dare get too hot. LOL

We have them thar little tiny spiders out here. They bite like gnats, skeeters. They make you itch also. Yes, rubbing alcohol does the trick also. Calamine like you say stops it for a while, but when it starts again, re-apply. It takes about two times to get it to stop. Hugs a million..

If the itchiness and swelling is that extreme, maybe you need an anti-histamine. Some reactions set the histamine into overtime. But, as a proactive measure, I've heard that Avon's SOS oil works wonders as a repellent. Don't scratch!!

but I can't take anti-histamines. I'm allergic! Wish like hell I could. I told Clint up above that the best thing I have found is just plain old rubbing alcohol. Damn little critters are eating me alive. I have heard that if you take garlic pills that won't bother you as much. Ever heard of anything like that?
