The reason I have it is because 1. they don't have a contract with any local ISP's here. 2. If the service sucks and you complain, they will automatically connect you to their 800 number. I decided I would download Netscape and see if it had the same damn problem. Low and behold, speed like you wouldn't believe. It is absolutely amazing. Maybe it is something screwy with IE???? Glad you found the problem. And people are always knocking Hotmail, but I have had good luck with it and I see other people bitch about their email provider..Been with hotmail for over 6 years now...
