Subject: interested in starting racing

hi i live in murphysboro,ill and looking to get into mini sprint racing. what classes race at your track. do you race 250s cuase just looking and being a newbie they look the most reasonable and i know a little about the motors.just looking for any info that would help get my feet wet.
